This organization is committed to fulfilling the promise that was made to the Afghan people over 20 years ago. When the decision was made to pull out, many US citizens and Afghan partners were trapped. Supporting Afghan Families provides them with much needed life support and communication resources to coordinate their rescue. Since May, 17 families have been rescued. We want to continue this support until all citizens and those Afghans that worked with us have been able to escape the horror of the Taliban. More information see: www.supportingafghanfamilies.org. There is also a very good documentary on Amazon Prime: Send Me It is the story of 12 veterans, led by the spouse of a catastrophically wounded veteran, who went to Kabul during the fall of Afghanistan to evacuate as many souls as they could before time expired.
